The idea of recording a solo album has been maturing within me for a long time – it is a dream I can now fulfill. Together with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, with whom I share a long-standing, intense and always friendly collaboration, we wish to create an album featuring my beloved violin concertos of the 20th century.
The recording will take place in Ostrava’s Vesmír cinema, the current home of the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. The album will feature Korngold’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 and Barber’s Violin Concerto, Op. 14, performed under the baton of conductor Robert Kružík. The album will be released by the renowned label Animal Music.
To make this project a reality, it is necessary to secure funding for the venue, the work of the orchestra, sound engineers, producers, and the entire production process. This is where I would like to kindly ask for your help and support.
