The project created jointly by violinist Jiří Vodička and pianist David Mareček, Chief Executive Officer of the Czech Philharmonic, focuses on the interpretation of works by Antonín Dvořák.

The dramaturgy of the project *In the Footsteps of Antonín Dvořák* invites listeners on a musical journey through the works of one of the greatest Czech composers. The program presents a selection from Dvořák’s chamber music for violin and piano, offering a glimpse into the rich world of our most celebrated composer.

Dvořák’s music speaks a universal language that resonates with audiences around the globe. The artists combine his famous works with lesser-known gems, creating a unique perspective on the composer’s output. The concert program is suitable for both domestic and international audiences and can be flexibly adapted for chamber or orchestral performance. *In the Footsteps of Antonín Dvořák* is not only a tribute to the composer, but also a living dialogue with his music – one that continually discovers new contexts and speaks to new generations of listeners. The musical experience, enhanced not only by the power of Dvořák’s works and the virtuosity of both performers, is further enriched by insightful introductions to the composer’s life. Listeners are given a unique opportunity to immerse themselves fully in Dvořák’s musical world – a world of joy, love, harmony, but also of melancholy and hope.
