The project Devilish Strings brings together violinist Jiří Vodička and guitarist Pavel Steidl in a programme inspired by the legendary Paganini. Virtuoso works, brimming with fiery energy and technical challenges, reveal music at the very limits of human possibility – music that seduces, enchants, and leaves the audience breathless.
Two of the most accomplished artists – violinist Jiří Vodička and guitarist Pavel Steidl – have joined forces to create a programme built around the works of Niccolò Paganini and his delightful gems for violin and guitar. In addition to their joint performances, both musicians will shine in solo pieces, including, among others, the Theme and Variations on “Nel cor più non mi sento” for solo violin and the Minuetto dedicato alla Signora Dida from the Sonata in A major for solo guitar.
